Germany is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited, from the Alps to the Baltic. The German people are some of the most friendly, funny and intelligent people I have ever met and are eager to continue a conversation. Germany is a federally organized country for more that just political reasons. It is historically and culturally made up of many different provinces and regions.

Germany is definitely the best place to live, work, and meet people. It is Canada’s sixth-largest export market and ranks sixth among Canada’s suppliers. Canada’s bilateral trade with Germany has grown considerably in the past decade: Canadian imports from Germany rose from $3.83 billion in 1990 to $10.26 billion in 2005, while Canadian exports rose from $2.20 billion in 1990 to $3.23 billion in 2005. Germany is truly a modern great power. The total area in Germany is 357,021 square kilometers.

Speaking German is not a prerequisite for most jobs, but people should still be willing to learn the language. Speaking German is certainly advantageous, after all, it is in the top 15 most spoken languages in the world.
